Overview
Glenn Miller Orchestra from the 1941 film, Sun Valley Serenade. This clip also includes the awesome dance team, the Nicholas Brothers.
When you think of Glenn Miller you think of a great musical career spanning many years. Unfortunately, Glenn Miller's fame was only between the years 1938 to 1942, four years. Too old to be drafted, he volunteered for the Army. On Dec. 15 1944, Miller was to fly from the United Kingdom to Paris, France to play for the soldiers who had recently liberated Paris.
His plane departed from RAF Twinwood Farm in Clapham, Bedfordshire and disappeared while flying over the English Channel.
Tex Beneke carried on the Glenn Miller Orchestra. What began as the "Glenn Miller Orchestra under the Direction of Tex Beneke" finally became "The Tex Beneke Orchestra"

Here's a bonus link to Glenn Miller's, "I've got a Gal in Kalamazoo." The Nicholas Brothers perform. I said "ouch" 23 times during their routine. Gal In Kalamazoo
Chattanooga Choo Choo
This put American Idol and Dancing with the Stars to shame. This is really singing and dancing.
