Overview	The Chicago Transit Authority is getting into the holiday spirit with the 2008 version of its popular Holiday Train. Santa and his elves will ride the train passing out candy canes and season's greetings. Each Holiday season, the Chicago Transit Authority's eight rail lines sponsor a highly decorated Holiday train with thousands of lights and featuring Santa on a decorated flat car. As the CTA Holiday Train follows its route, Santa and his elves travel from car to car passing out candy canes to passengers and spreading some holiday cheer. The interior and exterior of the train is decorated with oversized garland, seasonal ornaments, and thousands of lights.
