Narrow Gauge In The Garden - Difficult Terrain
Apr 22, 2011

This person started in Garden Railroading after the house he bought in the U.K. had the remnants of a railroad hidden in the overgrown garden. Now his layout is a beautiful live steam empire.

OverviewWhen I watch Garden Railroad videos from the U.K. I sometimes think there are laws that require them to be beautiful, because they always are.

This live steam layout address' some ideas about bringing up the level of the railroad while keeping it level for the live steam engines.

Scenery
Well blended scenery and atmosphere of a beautiful narrow gauge line. Well done.

Narrow Gauge in the garden
Thanks John for highlighting a great video of this narrow gauge.

For the people who may have heard of the camera man and editor of this movie, Mark Found, there is a site that they have dedicated to all things railway:

Well Done
The Brits really take the "Garden" part of Garden Railways very seriously and with passion. This is yet another of many of their quaint gardens with a railroad running through it, as if the railroad was intended to be there. Well done.

Excelent Layout
The simplicity of the layout with the well established vegitation makes many of the shots look very real. I does look like 1950 narrow gauge in Ireland.
