Overview
We all have that special engine we would love to own. Of course some of us do. The Cab Forward is mine. Although mine still sits on some retailer's shelf, it is out there.
But watching breathing, living one that I could ride puts a whole new perspective on how much money I don't have.
I really need to buy a Lotto ticket someday.

Actually this is quite a simple engine - two 2-8-0's joined together. But I'm sure the owner has mega bucks invested. I've always wondered why our high tech folk haven't been able to come up with a mass production process for 1 1/2" live steamers in kit form that could be purchased for well under $10,000. Not everyone is a machinest or steam engineer. In fact using electric golf cart technology a powered tender could push around an elaborate (non-steam) engine. For the rest of us, it' either a small plymouth or waiting for lottery lightning to strike.
