OverviewThe great thing about building your Garden Railroad is that you can do whatever you want. Inside, outside, raised or ground level. You're not constrained by a 4x8 sheet of plywood or open girder building.

But that also presents a problem for those trying to figure out what to do. There is no tried and true method; short of a sheet of plywood. Everyone has a favorite way of building. So you find something that works for you.

This video shows one way of constructing roadbed for a raised layout. Even if you find only one technique you can use after watching it, it will be worth it.
