OverviewBackyard streams, ponds and waterfalls cost's are sometimes prohibitive. When I saw this video on making a spillway for $20.00, I figured it was a "must watch". A simple project with readily available parts can save you money that can be spent elsewhere on your water project.

It may also spawn other ways to save money. I can visualize the train travelling over the spillway as the water cascades down the stream to the pond of my yet un-built layout extension. Just another fun project I can start and hopefully finish.
