Author  Bio Sunday was a time for vicariously running some Garden Railroads. I found 3 great videos to watch and inspire.

It was too cold, windy and wet to run trains Sunday. So I ran trains vicariously on You Tube. With the recent death of LGB's Wolfgang Richter, I thought it fitting that I find some LGB layouts.

I hope you enjoy what I found.

LGB Train Ideas This video is made up of many short takes of various layouts. I drooled when I saw the Santa Fe Passenger train at the :35 mark.

Large, Gorgeous, Beautiful (LGB) This is a fantastic German LGB layout. It begins with winter background but the beauty of it is revealed after the snow melts. The narration and interview are in German. It roughly translates to "Uber Awesome".

Sodra Domstens Jarnvag If your looking for a definition of GARDEN Railroading, this video would be a good example. It feels as though it was built through an existing garden and landscaping. The raised portion with the bridges is inspiring.
