Here's how to use your Garden Railroad as a gardening tool.

OverviewIf you don't feel like carrying 2 handfuls of weeds out to the "Back 40", you can have some fun by using your railroad.

It also justifies why you need more gondolas.

I loved looking at this video, the shots, the music were all great. Tunnel was very nice too. Only one question, who's railroad is it? Ingenious use of the railroad to do a job no one enjoys doing..

MOW Work
Very cute video. Good way to haul weeds, kill some time, and kill a six-pack of your favorite bubbly.

Weed Train Video
Well done video, BUT . . . I would have a heart attack if I looked out and my layout had such a crop of weeds!!

I'm a "picker". As soon as a weed (misplaced plant) gets large enough to be plucked between the thumb and forefinger it's a goner!

Still liked the video though.

Weeds on the Branch Lines
Great layout! To Tom's comment about being a weed "picker," I note that many branch lines that don't get much traffic end up with lots of weeds. Several frames of this video show that reality. So, I just assume that the owner of this railroad faces the need for weeds and has incorporated same for "reality" effect. Nice job. Tom probably models a well run mainline where fuel and oil drippings tend to keep the weeds at bay. Both are fun. What a hobby!!
