OverviewAfter watching 17 passenger cars, I needed more trains instead of water features.

Bekonscot was created in 1929 as the hobby of one man, Roland Callingham. Welcome to the world-famous Bekonscot Model Village and Railway, the world's oldest model village. Bekonscot is different from other model villages; this is an entire miniature kingdom stuck firmly in an idyllic 1930s time warp.

There are six little villages in a 1.5 acre miniature landscape of farms and fields, castles and churches, woods, lakes and rolling hills.

Sound so the video
For an 80 year old model it looks like yesterday. There must be a very large staff to maintain the grounds and upkeep of the many features of the 1.5 acres of model villages and grounds. Thanks so very much for allowing us to view this video and read of its many features. Another great model I could never see in person.
