This is what I have in mind for my Cog branch, simple but a lot to see. 28% grade? I will need a new level and calculator.

Overview
A LGB cog locomotive climbs a 28% grade next to a cascading waterfall. There is also a night shot of the engine coming back down. I think it's headed for the shop, one of his lights are out
Lights out
In fact the Swiss narrow gauge railway, known as the RhB, runs with only the rear right light active on the back of the engines on its older engines.

Cog Railroad
On a cog railroad the Engine is always located on the rear of the train as a saftey precaution.
Great layout and photography. I would like to see more of your layout.
