Overview
There was a Tuesday Topic 3 weeks ago about "Ice". Although it has snowed here, I didn't get to experience ice until this year. Track was clear of snow turned on the power and the train ran out of the shed and promptly stopped outside. Took me awhile but I finally discovered the "Ice on Rail" problem.
This video is some pretty straight forward plowing until the last millisecond, when the plow hits some ice and starts to take a header off the trestle. You have to watch closely because the engineer filming had cat like reflexes and was able to shut off the camera and save his train, I hope.
