OverviewAs far as I can tell this video is at normal speed. I looked at background features. Watched the smoke to see if it dissipated too quickly.

I don't know.

If it's normal speed then he must have a 500 Amp transformer and Pirelli PZero Nero's on the driver wheels. Watched it for the sound. Uploaded it because it deserves dissection.

Big Boy
Was this prototypical speed? While it may have been a little fast, the smoke generator was working overtime, and the sound is wonderful. I'll take it!

Big Boy
This video was played at a faster speed.

Watch the smoke at the end of the video.

It moves away too fast.

Big Boy Speed
I like the video. Real Big Boys were designed for 80 MPH, and ran close to 70 when conditions allowed. It doesn't look to me like the speed is over 70, so I have no problem with the speed even though it's a bit fast for my taste. The curves are too tight for it to look right at high speed in the curves, but most of us have the same issue - we just don't have room for 100' diameter curves. Good lookin' engine.
