Overview
Someone had the great opportunity to travel around Germany and while they did, videotaped some Garden Railroads. There are so many Railroads out there, I'm glad someone takes the time travel the world or I would never get a chance to enjoy them.
Franz Grund's railway
The spectacular outdoor railway belongs to Franz Grund in Germany. He is famous there for his LGB empire. We were privileged to meet him and see his railway in July of 2006 for LGB's 125th Anniversary celebrations. The nicest railway I have ever seen!

Great Efforts
It is apparent that a lot of effort goes into most of those layouts. Many of the portable show layouts were beyond the typical set of loops most often seen.

LGB Layout spectacular #2
Franz Grund's layout is in a league of it's own. The work, and dedication sure paid off. The other modular layouts are fantastic. The videographer also did a great job, put it all together and the result is spectacular.
