Author  Bio I have to install one more turnout and a few feet of track to complete the Spring-Summer project.

As I sit in Starbucks this morning waiting to pick up my teenager from school, (A whole 3 hours of education today), I'm looking forward to completing my mainline extension.

A few feet of track and a turnout are all that separate me from running an engine to find all of my track work mistakes. I need inspiration to get it done, so I enjoy watching other railroads to get it.

Here's what will get me going. Hope it helps you to before it gets too wintery.

Wow Peter, what gorgeous layouts, especially the one near the lake... They would not inspire me, of course, no winter doldrums here either, but probably totally intimidate me.. IF you get some steam from them, go for it...

Inspiration

We all at one point need inspiration to continue. Some stop a week or two, some months, some years. There is no set time line and our main inspiration is our enjoyment of the hobby.

Motivation

For a long time, I was tired of a train consist I was running. Finally, I got some different cars off the shelves and got a fresh set of cars running. It was lack of inspiration that I finally overcame. It was worth it!! Hope you finished that bit of trackwork over the weekend.
