Go out and run it!

An inspirational video for those of you without a permanent railroad. There is no excuse now for not running some trains, when the weather gets better

OverviewYou have Engines; you have Rolling Stock; you have track. But you don't have a layout. Well suffer no more. This person proves you can have fun with your Garden Trains without a permanent setup.

Even better, the East Coast Show is right around the corner, giving you every reason to add to your collection that you WILL run this Spring.

RUNNING TRAINS
Cool!, why no caboose?

vidoe and audio
I like the video but I think the " vocals " that accompany this could be done without ... Its annoying to start with and gets MORE annoying as the video continues. Isnt there SOME OTHER music that could go with this if really needed ???? Mozart and Beethoven wrote lots of nice stuff ... "Ive Been workiin' on the railroad" would be more effective. CTK

music
Carl,

I guess the person who made the video liked it. I myself hit the mute button, I didn't enjoy it either.

Music
They do make railroad oriented music and sound effects...I think;)

Music
I am afraid you guys are showing your age when you complain about the music. Not my favorite either, but it is what the younger generation favors and we want to attract younger people into the hobby.

I just turned it down. To each his own.

I am probably older than all of you but I thought it was kind of different and neat. I am tired of hearing 40's music with every video.

Just my $.02.

Thanks, Noel

Music
When I search for these videos, my main criteria is how does it relate to Graden Trains or trains in general. The music plays no part in my decision to share the video. Enjoy the trains, mute the sound and hum. My son says I hum when he talks to me.

Fun with Trains
I enjoyed the video. I thought it looked like someone was having fun running his trains. I don't think I can get away with just laying track on top of my lawn because it's just not flat enough or level enough, but I may give it a try this summer.

First Train
It reminds me a lot of the first train the newly formed San Antonio Garden Railway Society set up at the Texas Transportation Museum in 1090, to introduce the public to the train we were going to build there.

Looks interesting in mute... :)

Music versus more train enthusiasts
We are all different. Steam era early/late, diesel, etc. Music as well. Yes, I did not like the music as well but he had his engines running and enjoying them with different eras represented. Young kids look at this video and say wow! We need them.
