Watch the video and see if you can figure out why it's called the Broken Branch Garden Railroad. I have an idea.

Overview
I'll take a wild guess the reason the railroad is named the Broken Branch is because of all the branches that needed to be broken to put it in. If you like raised roadbed or are looking for ideas about one, this is a perfect video.
The invited dignitaries watching the run are all smiles and waves. I believe the proud father is the one clutching the remote and fusing with the video camera on the tripod. New fathers are fun to watch too.

That roadbed is nicely done. Looks like thin strips were laminated to form the curves, and those posts should do the job. If it were mine, I would tie a few branches back rather than cutting them and upsetting the chief gardener.

Great looking layout. It must be nice not to bend down to but trains on the track. My layout goes into my shed also. Stay on track, Douglas from Salem, Oregon

Road bed.
I am interested in how the smooth curves were created.
