AMTRAK in the Garden

I've seen long Garden Scale passenger trains, but they are usually traditional road names. Here's a nice long AMTRAK.

OverviewAs much as I love them, my layout is not large enough to run passenger trains. This is the first video I've found that features more than 1 AMTRAK engine and a couple of cars.

I could have watched a lot more of this train.

Long passenger Train
The company is National Railroad Passenger Corporation. The common name is Amtrak -- A-m-t-r-a-k.

Don't feel bad for misspelling it It's the most commonly misspelled trade name. But I'd think that model railroaders r smarter than the aaerage onsumer.

Nice video on the train, I only wish they would not have used the ZOOM.

AMTRAK Train
Criticism of the video is valid, but I am glad it was posted. I enjoyed seeing the train. The layout looks nice too.

Amtrak
I liked the close coupling of the cars. I am not sure having the older streamline cars behind those locomotives is appropriate, but seeing that train was really cool. The train must have been under slow orders, around here Amtrak trains move so fast its difficult to focus on a single car.

Thanks Peter
