See video and photos from their 1st Club Drag Race. Maybe this might be great for your next club meeting?

Why on earth would anyone want a drag strip controller for a model railroad? What is this, a trick question? The answer is simple, what could be more fun than a little friendly competition racing locomotives on a G-Scale drag strip???

See how this all got started. Read this article: G-Scale Drag Strip Controller

This can't be good for the motors. Doesn't sudden changes in voltage/power affect them?

Drag Racing
Cool idea! Something a little different than going around in circles or loops. Looked like a lot of fun and some pretty sophisticated electonics.

motor wear
I would not worry at about the motors. The gears could be a problem if the trucks have traction tires. I would not want to use my good engines for this, but it does look like fun.

Drag Racing
Looks like it would be a fun thing to do but I would like to see as a tractor pull to see how much weight an engine could pull down a straight-a-way.

What to Run
I want to see the '94 Corvette in the garage participate too! ;)
