Overview	Scranton, PA - Visit Steamtown NHS, downtown Scranton, for Railfest 2012 on Saturday, September 1 or Sunday, September 2!  We celebrate with visiting railroad equipment and displays, special exhibits, demonstrations and tours, and more!  We will operate an excursion to Moscow at 12:30 p.m. each day, with a "photo run-by" opportunity at Moscow Station. It all comes together to create a memorable visit at the traditional close of summer. While visiting Railfest, take advantage of free trolley bus rides during Park hours to La Festa Italiana on Lackawanna County Courthouse Square!

Steamtown @ Scranton,PA

I recently visited Steamtown Park and we had a wonderful experience. The exhibits are very informative and are well maintained. I purchased the ride inside the cab of the steam engine and this was not only a thril for me but was also very informative. The entire park is worth the trip to Scranton Pa. There is also a Historic Trolley Museum however we did not get to see the entire display as there was not enough time. I will definately be back to see the entire exhibit and take in the Trolley Museum. The only negative comment about the Park is that it is very hard to find the entrance.
