"It really is more between the model engineering side of things and the model railways, but I'm more into the artistic and the landscape side. It is physically hard work doing it."

Overview

Ian, who has been asked to take part in various projects, has starred in a series of videos explaining the intricacies of garden railways and has also written a number of articles and books on the subject.

Ian spent hours delicately piecing the model together, which represents a railway line that had never been built between Fort William and Inverness. He even managed to use an exact image of the view of the location from the internet to establish the whereabouts of the river and other geographical points of interest.
