Overview

Overland Park, KS - Usually a caboose is at the end of a train, but in this case it marks the beginning of Phase I of the Train Garden at the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens.

Upon completion, the four-phase Train Garden will be nearly the length of a football field and contain seven G-scale trains, a caboose, a depot, two mountains, several water features and the recreation of Historic Downtown Overland Park and the Strang Line.

Train Garden in Overland Park
I hope this story is correct. I was looking forward to seeing this garden in KC for the Convention. Then I was looking forward to seeing the work in progress.

The the Garden said "no banquet" and we went to an Ag museum in Bonner Springs.

I guess I'll not pack my bags for another train trip to KC in the ner future.
