Toledo Train Day |
Sorry to say-not a particularly great show. I live outside Cleveland and drove over-hoping to see some great displays. In a way they had some excellent displays of HO and N scale layouts. Swanton OH club had a VERY large layout. I saw only 1 G-scale display-this was downstairs and consisted of 2 small ovals-both with Thomas the train running,a static Mogul engine and a another static display - forgot what it was. certainly not memorable, nor a good presentation of Garden RR. All in all,a fair show, but I've seen better. Some of my musician friends were playing,so enjoyed that as well, but for a train show it lefta little to be desired. It was well-attended tho' with lots of kids-which is good. Bill Parthe |
