A unique blend of chocolate and train themed exhibits and events, the festival is a celebration of the historic railroad chocolate spill of 1955 in Hamilton. An O&W Train filled with Nestles Crunch Bars and Nestles Quik derailed and spilled chocolate everywhere.

Overview | Hamilton, NY - The History Tent, sponsored by Price Chopper and presented by the Hamilton Historical Society, will contain memorabilia, documentation and artifacts from the actual train wreck. It will also include a Q&A panel discussion with eye witnesses, guided walking tours to the actual wreck site, and a special presentation honoring Henry Harter and Bill Wilcox who were instrumental in preserving the memory of the event and lovers of the O & W Railroad.
