OverviewPhoenix, AZ Area - Twenty model train layouts around the Valley will be open for tours later this month for the 13th annual Garden Railroad Family Event. Admission is free.

Donations will be accepted for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Arizona to benefit children with life-threatening medical conditions.

WHAT YOU'LL SEE

AdTech AdAt the main location, several layouts with track power and live steam trains will be running. At other locations, walk through backyards full of model trains, with landscaped gardens and miniature towns.

WHEN

10 a.m.-4 p.m. April 21 and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. April 22.

SOUTHEAST VALLEY LOCATIONS

Gilbert: 1005 N. Tucana Lane; 861 W. Emerald Island Drive; both are open Sunday.

Mesa: 150 S. Windsor, Space A5, open Saturday; 1708 W. Dixon Circle, open Sunday.

Sun Lakes: 9636 E. Mossy Rock, Sun Lakes; 25025 S. Lakeway Drive; 10432 E. Cedar Waxwing; all are open Sunday.

MAIN LAYOUT

Wild Eagle Railroad, 4007 N. 22nd Ave., Phoenix (just east of Interstate 17 and south of Indian School Road.
