Cincinnati offers many holiday train venues. Here is a list of some popular ones.


A Cincinnati Scenic Railway
Control parts of garden railway display through iconic Cincinnati landmarks such as the Taft Museum, Union Terminal and the Eden Park Springhouse. New features this year: the Tyler Davidson Fountain and a river steamboat.

Details: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Krohn Conservatory, 1501 Eden Park Drive, Eden Park. Through Jan. 5. $7, $4 children, free ages 4 and under. 513-421-5707

Christmas at EnterTrainment Junction
Lights, decorations, Santa and Mrs. Claus, and holiday-themed train displays will all be part of the fun, which kicks off Saturday.

Holiday Toy Trains at Behringer-Crawford
Layout features Lionel trains and Plasticville. More than 250 feet of track. Patrons welcome to operate more than 30 accessories from buttons on layout. Through Jan. 19.

Details: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Behringer-Crawford Museum, 1600 Montague Road, Covington. Included with admission: $7, $6 ages 60 and up, $4 ages 3-17; free ages 2 and under. 859-491-4003

Holiday Junction
The Duke Energy Holiday Trains display features more than 300 miniature rail cars and 60 engines running along 1,000 feet of track. Museum visitors can also watch "Rocky Mountain Express" at the OMNIMAX theater (additional ticket); view the the exhibit "Along the Line: 1930s Railroad Photographs by John W. Barriger III"; and take part in special events.

Details: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, Cincinnati Museum Center, 1301 Western Ave., Queensgate. Through Jan. 5. History Museum ticket includes train show: $8.50, $6.50 children.
