Their San Luis and Rio Grande Southern Railway will be open to the public Sept. 15 as part of the 15th Annual Wichita Area Garden Railway Tour.

Overview
The Wichita Area Garden Railway Society puts on the free tour rain or shine. The Marins, who live at 844 N. Westlink, have been on the tour the past few years, and this year, Bob Marin pushed the tracks the full length of one side of the yard, extending the railway as far as he can in that spot.

When: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 15

Where:

1425 N. Broadway,

6356 N. Seneca,

2434 N. Amidon,

217 N. Joann,

844 N. Westlink,

2015 E. Blake,

200 SW 2nd St. in Newton and

Botanica, 701 N. Amidon

How much: Free; tour maps available at hobby shops and garden centers. Tour map will get a person and his or her immediate family into Botanica for free during tour hours. (Donation jars will be available to help the club's participation in community displays.)
