Here is an event that makes me wish I still lived in California. Mark Spencer of the Break Time Railroad invites you to attend their "Annual Spring Open House".
Mark say's "We at the BTRR are primarily 1/8 scale live steam, but we do have a fairly large outdoor G-gauge layout. Anybody is welcome, and you can have the run of the G track, as we'll be busy giving rides on our big trains. The rails are NOT powered....we run RC or livesteam on the G pike."
"There's a trackplan via the link below, and our switches are pneumatically controlled from a central panel. If you're within easy driving distance of central California, we'd love to have you come and play trains with us."
SATURDAY MAY 5, 2012
1404 California Ave.
Modesto, CA 95351
11 AM-?
POTLUCK (you're invited to bring something to share, but it's not required or expected)
Please feel free to bring your kids, your grandkids, your friends, your friend's kids...or anybody else who loves trains, to come and take a ride with us...the more the merrier!
