| Overview | New Providence, NJ - Groot is former chairman of the Knotts Company, an automation and motion control service company. He is also treasurer of the Big Train Operator Club and a member of the Bay Area Garden Railway Society. Model trains are thought of as a man's hobby; when they are in a garden, they become a family pastime. Groot's address will include a visual presentation showing the construction and maintenance of an outdoor model railroad. 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 5, at the New Providence Municipal Center, 360 Elkwood Ave., New Providence. |
