Overview |
"Your first
impression may be that it borders on oxymoron to speak of bad-smelling flowers.
Isn't the blossom symbolic of fine fragrance? Rose blossoms certainly are, for
which we have such proverbial expressions as:" "Stop
to smell the roses" and "He
came up smelling like roses". The main focus is on bad-smelling flowers that gardeners in the North are more likely to encounter.

I sont usually plant a LOT of flowers other than in areas that I will NOT be walking in to repair a train or fix a track .... My flowers are around the perimeter. In the train garden, I try to put plants that I can safely walk on such as moss etc... I recently found a wonderful ground cover but have NO idea what its name is....and thats what I use IN and around the trains.... |

ULTIMATE Bad Smelling Flower |
NOTHING can stink more than the bloom of a Chinese Chestnut. Flies will leave a barn yards full of . . . you know what and will swarm on the Chinese Chestnut blooms! Got a neighbor that you don't like? Plant a Chinese Chestnut on the property line next to them. They will probably move before you do!! |
