Overview | Savannah, GA - The Argent Lumber Company was a cypress lumber operation that abandoned
using mules to gather the swamp trees. Modernizing the operations, the
company bought old steam trains to transport the logs.
The garden would recreate the Argent Lumber Company's rail system with
model trains and even a water aspect mimicking the Savannah River and
swamp land.

ALC in G ? |
Interesting, as in they seem to have a positive 'vision' but is it viable ? Do any of them 'manage' a existing G-gauge shortline ? If not, I hope some of the regionals have a sit down with them (it not already) to discuss the cons compared to their existing small scale indoor empire. imho interim Good Luck .... it would be terrific, if doable and sustainable !! |
