Overview

Winter Garden, FL - Leesburg artist Dan Crusie
will be signing copies of the prints of the painting during a celebration planned at 2 p.m. on Nov. 23 at the depot at 101 South Boyd St.

The depot was used by the T&G (often called the "Tug and Grunt") through 1969, Irv Lipscomb, an officer with the Central Florida Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society, said in a press release. The Seaboard Coast Line Railroad continued to use the depot until 1978 and the society purchased it a year later.

Nice to see this happening and not too awful far away from my home... Unfortunately have a conflict with the opening day ceremonies, but it's nice to know they have saved some things... A tourist train is still running near there as well.
