Wes has been a model RR for four decades starting with Lionel and moving to HO until landing in the G large scale camp just over a year now. He is a member of the Ozark Garden Railway Society in Springfield, Missouri.

His emphasis is on Santa Fe modern diesel (70's to present) with a confirmed passion for the early GM F series that power his streamline Santa Fe Super Chief. His roster presently stables a Dash 9, two SD 45's, F3 ABA, GP38-2 with two E9's and another Dash 9 BNSF on order. He has converted all his non-Aristo locos to be able to switch between track and battery power like the Aristos. The Dash 9 and SD 45 have Phoenix sound installed. The others are waiting the arrival of the Aristo sound system.

Rolling stock is a variety of 50' box and refrigerator cars, tank cars, covered hoppers and a 4-car intermodal set. His passenger consist is a 6 unit streamline corrugated aluminum Super Chief set.

His road is all stainless steel with 20' curves, #6 switches on the mainline and wide radius in the yard, and all connected using Rail Clamps.

The track is powered with by an Ultima with a dual mode control box to allow him to switch between his Trackside TE and direct track power using his Onboard Receivers. He has also developed his own specialized power cars (freight and passenger) to permit him to run his locos with full track power or battery power feeding a Trackside TE Receiver in the car and finally to Aristo MU cables.

Wes is married with three grown children and five grandchildren. The grandkids "love Papa's trains!"
