Author  Bio Russ believes in the 10 foot rule of scale, but has every rivet on his railroad categorized  and named.

Russell T Rails completed his formal education at age 13 so he could work to help support his struggling family. His only employer was the Southern Pacific Railroad where he started as a roustabout, and then at 17, boarded a locomotive as a fireman. At 21 he advanced to engineer, a position he worked until his retirement.

Russ as his friends call him was one of a family of ten children. He is lifetime model railroader. He has been around Large Scale Garden Railways almost from the beginning. If it has been done, he as done it.

Russ runs battery power, live steam, track power, along with several types of the remote controls on this railroad. Russ believes in the 10 foot rule of scale, but has every rivet on his railroad categorized and named.
