My planned large scale layout will be the Georgetown Loop (to scale in 1:20.3)

Marc is 47 years old, grew up in Denver, CO (narrow gauge buff, of course) and currently resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am a Quality Engineer in the automotive industry. Model railroading since 1960, was into 5 scales until last year (N, HO/HOn3, On30 and G/Fn3).

Today I model late 1880's early 1900's logging operations in HO (Sasquatch & Bigfoot Northern Logging Company) and 1:24 - 1:20 Colorado Narrow Gauge (Georgetown Gilpin & Bergen Park). I founded the El Paso & Southwestern Modular Railroad Association, El Paso, TX in 1994 and the Grand Rapids Modular Railroad Group in 2001.

Recently, won a 1st, 3rd and Honorable Mention in Rider's 2002 Model Railroad Contest and have my water tank entered in the 2002 Finescale Railroader contest. My planned large scale layout will be the Georgetown Loop (to scale in 1:20.3).

Favorite train rides; Cumbres & Toltec (10/01), Georgetown Loop in the cab of # 40(8/98) and trips from Denver to Glenwood Springs on the "real" California Zephyr. Other hobbies include antique collecting and an avid roller coaster buff.

Watch for my new model company opening in 4th quarter 2002, "Railgeek Tradings".

My water tank will be the first release, available in Fn3, On30/0 and HO; kits and also custom assembly.
