LGB Amtrak Passenger Cars |
Hey Jon Great article on the Amtrak cars. I couldn't get the top off without it. I took a Cafe car and and striped one end with black and yellow and added two blinking red lights were the white ones were on the end. Will use this as the trailing car. I ran into a problem with the voltages. I need 12 volts for the lights and assumed the wires running from the wheels to the interior lights were a varilbe 0-22 volts. Guess what, the track can be 22 volts and the wires powering the lights remain at 8 volts. As anything with LGB there is no info anywhere that I could find on the wiring. In your dismantle did you get into the floor area or see any kind of voltage regulator ? |

Lawrence, I've sent you a private e-mail. However, that response does not answer your question. This will take a little research. |
