I was born in Belleville, Illinois, now live in Fairview Heights, Illinois. Graduated from a Technical School 27 years ago. Began my career with the Royal Business Machines, now Konica Minolta Business Solutions 25 + years ago servicing copiers and fax machines and now large production print equipment. I have been married to my wife Donna for 22 years who has worked for the former Missouri Pacific Railroad & Union Pacific Railroad, now currently at the Alton & Southern Railway (subsidiary of UP Railroad) in E. St. Louis, IL. as Director of IT. I have 2 children, Kristin a junior in College and Daniel a senior in High School. When I am not spending time with my family then I am reading train magazines online, books, or working on my outdoor train layout that is still currently under construction. (Log Hill Run Railroad)

I have been involved with model trains in a lot of different scales all of my life, but have been active in G-Scale Modeling since 1992 and a member of the Gateway Garden Railroad Club (www.ggrrc.org) since 1994, and currently hold the position of Treasurer. I enjoy all aspects of G-Scale Trains, everything from building to running trains when I have the time. I have also had the honor of meeting Jim Young, President of Union Pacific Railroad, on a special dinner invitation through my wife on a special executive 10 car passenger train that came to St. Louis in the spring of 2008.
