At the recent East Coast Large Scale Train show our very own David Bodnar gave a seminar on the all new Aristo TE Revolution. It is the new remote control system from Aristo-Craft and it looks very cool.

Why David? If you have been around LSOL.com long enough you know that he is the Sultan of Electronics. David has been working for months with Aristo-Craft to shape the development of this device. So who better to learn about it from than the guy that wrote the manual. Really, he did!

Watch each of the 8 parts here.

We have broken this 80 minute seminar into 8 ten minute sections. We also used two cameras so you can see David and see his PowerPoint presentation. We also video taped the seminar in HiDef and created the clips in a whopping 640 pixels wide for you to watch on the Internet. Would you expect less from LSOL.com

The Revolution is Here and Delivers What we Promised

Our new Train Engineer radio control system, called the Revolution, is a major breakthrough in controlling our trains. More importantly, the Revolution is here now, works as advertised and is easier to use than its competitors. Those who did the initial testing universally acclaimed its user friendliness and excellence of operation. The cutting edge technology that it utilizes provides glitch free operation and outstanding range that outshines the rest. We can fine tune the settings for each loco in a dozen ways before committing it to the M.U. consist, with the activation of a simple menu option. Conceptually, keeping the programs in the transmitter instead of the receiver/chip makes more sense for convenient changes and the copying feature allows for quick setups of new locos to the layout.

Our goal is to provide a product that will appeal to those who have wanted to use radio control with their railroads but were always hesitant to purchase a system that was overly complex.

We believe that the Revolution will make things easier and more fun, not more challenging. This is a hobby for people that understand the history of what railroads did and still do for our country's economy and enjoy replicating a small Lilliputian aspect of the world as their hobby.

The Revolution was designed to bring all of the fun to controlling trains in a manner that is understandable and that operates glitch free to enhance the enjoyment of the hobby. We started out with the goal of making the pie larger, not just getting a slice of a smaller pie, as we believe that the Revolution will bring more people to our hobby.

The reaction to the product at the East Coast Large Scale Train Show signaled that we're on the right path and we had nearly 200 people listen to our seminars while many more had an opportunity to test drive the unit at our booth. We want a positive experience for all and team Aristo has worked very hard and continues to be dedicated to making the Revolution reliable, easy to operate and an exciting addition to the model railroading experience.

All the best,

Lewis Polk, President

TE Revolution

Congratulations to Aristocraft for bringing Large Scale into the 21st Century.

Might be the best thing I've seen on LSOL to date.

I would like to see all Large Scale Manufactures have a standard "Plug and Play" main board in which to install (plug in) various decoders and sound systems in the future.

Revolutionary Revolution
Dave's presentation was most informative. Aristo-Craft is going about bringing this new system to market in the right way.

The "magic lantern" show enhanced Dave's presentation making what he was explaining all that more easy to understand. A well done video for those that could not attend the presentation.

I agree with Kell's commnet. The LS hobby needs an industry standard main board for plug & play that will accept any after-market control system.

The Aristo-Craft Revolution system is revolutionary.
