Plant Misc NotesCreeping groundcover with foliage which resembles lettuce. Green, purple, and green/white variegated cultivars available. Spreads by stolons (above ground horizontal stems) and can be very invasive. Has a purple or white bloom mid-spring.

Ajuga
A great plant in California. I've been growing it for years, and sharing plant (the spreading stems will root when conditions are right).

Yes it's invasive. I trim mine back from the track an inch or two at least twice a year.

I would differ on this one ... once its in you DONT get rid of it ... it is INVASIVE to beat the band and is NOT all the pretty... at least I found it to be the biggest pain the rear than anything . If you are thinking of planting this- I will send you all I can and you can then curse after that !!! NO THANKS !!!!!
